Positive Changes

 You didn't think greyeyesgabriel international was out of business did you? Well, I thought that I would let you know that we are still here and moving forward. We are currently redesigning our main website, this is the beginning of a total transformation within greyeyesgabriel international. No, we didn't sell the company, gain any investors, or partners; we are just attempting to make our websites more appealing and functional. We are keeping things that work and letting go of that which has hindered growth. While some divisions are doing well, others are still struggling to get off the ground; you may notice some divisions going away while others may receive a total makeover.

 We think we have the most patient and understanding fans, friends, and followers; thank you all for your support of greyeyesgabriel international, and our entire family. We look forward to getting all of this development finished and being able to focus on reaping the rewards. Once we can get finished with development there may be opportunities available for the company; which has always been the main focus of greyeyesgabriel international, economic growth through employment. The Death of Ning Networks!

  As we announced in April; we are migrating our Ning hosted networks to our new home at Spruz. We are pleased to say that we are finishing up this migration and plan to wrap up this exodus somewhere around the middle of June. Having said that, we have scheduled a date for demolition of our old Ning networks. We believe that to avoid confusion of where to find our new networks and in the rights of privacy that this is a necessary step. We know that Ning will take control of free accounts in July and this could lead to your private information becoming a part of the Ning agenda to turn a profit. So to keep from having your information from falling into the hands of a greedy corporation where the bottom line is how much of a return the investors are receiving; we will be deleting our Ning hosted networks on Monday June 28, 2010.

   This demolition will include all greyeyesgabriel international networks hosted on the Ning platform. If you are a member of these networks you will need to follow the migration link to our new Spruz hosted networks before Monday June 28, 2010. By this point, ever member should have been notified by email about the changes. If you have posted content to the Ning networks, then you will need to migrate your content as well, Ning has not provided developers with a way to migrate content, just member data. After Monday June 28, 2010; all content remaining on greyeyesgabriel international Ning hosted accounts will be deleted and pass into nonexistence. We hope that you all will migrate with us; however, whether you do or not, your profile and all content will be gone after Monday June 28, 2010.

  We hope this migration has not been too much of an inconvenience for our clients and we have taken measures to ensure that this type of thing never happens to you or us again. We look forward to you joining us in our exciting new home with a young company, like ourselves, and growing better than ever before. We look forward to growth and opportunities that Ning would never offer to free or paid account holders and hope you come along on the ride. Bye-Bye Ning...

...Hello Spruz! It is final, greyeyesgabriel international has decided on a new social network provider and we are left scratching our heads at this one; wondering why we were still @Ning!

We are pleased to announce that ALL social networks in the greyeyesgabriel company will be changing to the Spruz social website builder platform. When you visit for the first time, you will see for yourself why we chose this young company to be our provider. But there are even more technical reasons behind this decision.

  One of the reasons for our decision is that if in the future, Spruz decides to drop support for their free platform or force everyone to pay, we want to be able to make migration easier and be able to keep OUR content in OUR social network to maintain your privacy! With Spruz; we have the option to download our network and host it on our own servers or migrate it to another network. This was the most crucial element in our migration.

  We are hoping to make the migration for all of our networks as soon as possible; but please be patient with us as there will be phases of the migration. The first network to be migrated (our test network) is greyeyesgabriel network. The migration officially begins at Monday, April 26, 2010 at 12:01 am, US central time, but we just couldn't wait to spread the news and offer memberships early since development wrapped up early today. Ning: “Pay or Leave!”

As some of you may have heard through the media by now, Ning has decided to no longer support their free platform. They will be releasing new "affordable pricing plans" on May 4th for the now free Ning Network Developers. I will not get into any feelings or ill regard for their logic "business decision" or enter into the politics of the corporation; this is just an announcement for the friends of greyeyesgabriel.

 
As you may know, greyeyesgabriel international has many networks rooted in the Ning platform and this announcement that first came out in the blog on April 15; which I did not hear about until April 22, from an online tech source; has put greyeyesgabriel international and all of it's subsidiary companies in a very tough position. So greyeyesgabriel international has decided to end all affiliation with Ning and move to another provider for our social networking needs. We will be developing the networks as quickly as we can; however we ask for your understanding and patience during this migration, as we are a very small web upstart.

We have the ability to migrate your member information to our new network provider; however, Ning has thus far retained rights to the blogs, photos, music, forums, and all other additional information added to the network. You can rest assured that after the migration is complete and you are comfortably in our brand new home at greyeyesgabriel network on our new platform, the greyeyesgabriel network on Ning will be deleted and all information destroyed.

We apologize for any inconveniences that might occur or that have been caused by this business decision; and we hope that you decide to remain with the greyeyesgabriel brand for your web needs. We are currently looking at several very promising platforms and will notify everyone when we decide which company we will be moving to, until I talk to you again; thank you so very much for all of your support of the greyeyesgabriel brand.

We are sorry to announce that the package deals that we were going to begin offering this week have been slightly delayed. Our negotiations have fallen through with the companies that we use and we can not mention them by name; but rest assured that we still plan to offer affordable packages for you and your company. We use only the best products and services on the web, and even though we can't say them by name; we are sure that you know who they are by visiting our websites; as we choose to keep their names displayed because we do appreciate what they provide in free services and think it is just good business to advertise for free. You may choose not to show their branding links and there will be packages that will provide those paid features offered by those suppliers.


Through the failed negotiations we have also come up with an idea that has provided us a new domain name (not yet chosen), to provide a value priced web site and social network package, which will also include your own branded widget. We are dedicated to providing you with the best viral tools and services to improve your chances of getting noticed; and the introduction of this new brand name will reflect that.


We are also planning a library of free resources that you can use as training and tools for web production should you choose to copy the formula that we use ourselves. We support Open Source, freeware, shareware, and Open API services and products and have been a part of growing some of your favorite free tools. We are constantly testing new technologies and tools to provide the best service and information possible. Why do we provide so much for free? ...yes, it has been awhile since our last update; but we have finally gotten our new Terms Of Service and Privacy Policies posted on our greyeyesgabriel international domains. Things are looking good here, and we will be updating the home page of the greyeyesgabriel international website next week. We have added a new support feature to our websites, thanks to our friends at GetSatisfaction; it is a community based support feature, but I do monitor it myself whenever I am online. GetSatisfaction is one of the fastest growing support communities on the web, based in a forum format, it allows other users to assist in your issues and help you learn how to fix many issues for yourself. Of course, we are always here to deal with technical issues and to help you with your web design/developing needs. This makes greyeyesgabriel international more 2.0 capable than ever before; and allows us to serve your needs better.

BLOGGLOB.com is getting ready to roll out with a whole new blog advertising package that will incorporate the Widgetbox viral installer. Cosmic Spores Changes!

BIG CHANGES COMING!

The doctors have returned from their conference with some big news; starting with the restructuring of the Cosmic Spores Webwork. The Cosmic Spores Association has decided that the task of building this webwork is too large to for the Doctors to undertake on their own, and have hired the services of greyeyesgabriel international for their webwork needs. Due to the concerns of the Cosmic Spores Association, the first move is to consolidate the social network pods to the Ning social building network. This will result in the rebuilding of the warp zones, and many link changes; we request your patience during this restructure project. There will be the possibility of many broiken links during this time; we plan for this to be a short changeover with very few ripples as the growth of the social networks has been extremely slow. We expect that to change with this move to greyeyesgabriel international, a web company for the needs of the 21st century; the move to Ning will help create a more uniform network with one of the top social network platforms on the web.


The changes in creation of the networks in no way changes the fact that the respective Doctors will continue to regulate thier networks, and will maintain an administrative role in their massive webwork. You should be familiar with the Doctors that are already here; but there are new Doctors soon to be introduced. Along with the new Doctors will come new social networks with new themes, providing that network growth that was promised. There will be three new networks with three new Doctors joining the Cosmic Spores Earth Initiative, and much more slated for this year.
